Pros
Pays well.Bonus opportunity. Depending on choices, some randomness. Using once cent placeholder.
Edit (10/13-14): several automated bonus emails sent between August and September with no response.
Forgot that I had an email exchange with them from a previous HIT where I had to chase down an unpaid bonus for that HIT as well, so I reached out on 9/25 hoping they would respond to a direct email. After some back and forth, they told me they received my emails and promised they would look into it. Nothing heard, so I waited a week and followed up on 10/3. On 10/7 received a response promising they would resolve the unpaid bonus that week. I waited another week and followed up on 10/14 and wrote this edit.
As of this edit I am marking this as unpaid. If they reach out, I will update, but I am tired of chasing a bonus that will probably amount to nothing.
Edit (10/15): received a response stating was not owed a bonus. Stated bonus was based of random selection. Removed unpaid bonus.

Pros
Bonus? Bonus opportunity, but who knows what and if you will get a payment. Added a one cent placeholder.Long HIT timer, so you can put this off to the side to do other mindless tasks.
Edit (8/23): followed up with requester about unpaid bonus on 8/22. Received a 5 cent bonus on 8/23 along with an apology response stating they thought they had paid all bonuses. Honestly do not even remember what/if the bonus potential was supposed to be, but 5 cents is hardly anything to write home about.
Cons
I understand that this is a study and so the aim is to see how we think, but part 2 was unnecessarily complicated. Instructions could/should have been a structured in a way that actually helps you during the task, but instead was presented like a bad word problem in a math textbook.Kan Du Average Pace

Pros
You can win a bonus. I don't recall the highest possible bonus, either $1 or $1.50.Cons
Chances are the bonus will be small or you will get no bonus. For part 1 the selection process is very quick. Part 2 goes on and on. You have to make 48 selections, each on a new screen, each with a screen after where you have to hit "Next" again. For each selection, you have to click on 3 different choices to view something, even if you know enough after clicking just 1 or 2. In part 2 all your choices are for a charity. If part 2 is selected as the "part that counts" you get a bonus of zero.
