Update November 25th, 2018: A few good things to note: 1. The requester improved their instructions to clarify the significance of their ratings. 2. The video quality improved from the two videos I watched but I don't know if this applies to all new HITs or just the ones I tested. 3. The requester reversed my rejection and 4. increased pay from $0.25 to $0.35. 5. The requester replied to my email after reversing her rejection and apologized explaining it was her first time using Mechanical Turk.

This requester listens to feedback, and for that earned my respect. I updated my review to reflect changes and recent developments.

Cons

I did one as a test just to do this review. You have to download two videos and compare them but the videos are stretched in a weird way, making them difficult to watch. The two I got were identical. The rating scores start from 5 on the left then 4, 3, 2, and 1 going to the right but you don't know if 5 is good or bad or if 1 is good or bad. The instructions are unclear and ask only that you " Rate how much model A is better than model B." I saw identical videos of cheerleaders performing but who or what model A and B are is unclear to me. Do they mean the cheerleaders? The videos? There is no option to say the videos are identical. No comment box to explain and no middle point. There is a 5 minute timer, so if you're not sure what to do or you want to slow down the videos to scrutinize them better, tough! This batch is a mass rejection waiting to happen due to poor quality videos and vague instructions.

Update: Rejected the same day with the excuse that I didn't watch the videos...I did. Three times. They were identical albeit skewed and hard to watch.
